Meeting on Proposed New Pump Station May 2, 7pm St. Geroge’s Great Hall

A neighborhood discussion about City plans for N. Ferry Pump Station will occur – Tuesday, May 2, 7 pm St Georges Church Great Hall, entrance and parking on Green St.

The goal of this discussion will be to learn more, pose questions and concerns to share with the City. City staff have been invited to attend. (see May Spy Pump Station article)

Many neighbors  have raised concerns online and in conversations about impact of any changes to current Pump Station. While Clough Harbour Asoociates (CHA) engineering is the project lead, has developed a draft plan for a new Pump Station, their staff are not able to attend discussion on May 2.

Regardless, other neighbors have participated in discussions, have conducted their own investigation and have background to support ongoing discussion. On May 2, we will gather as neighbors concerned about Riverside Park and the impact of any proposed changes. The goal of this discussion will be to learn more, pose questions and  to share concerns with the City. City staff have been invited to attend.

CHA continues to gather input and revise initial design for a new Pump Station. According to project lead an official public meeting will be scheduled at a later date.
