Tavern Night at the Brouwer House Saturday Feb. 3, 4pm (corrected date)

We are lucky to have access to the Hendrick Brouwer House 14 N. Church St.  for a February neighborhood gathering.  In prior years we’ve observed the 1690 Stockade Massacre in early February.  This year we’re celebrating what came next, rebuilding and growth supported by Mohawk neighbors.  Records show Hendrick Brouwer had a building at this site by 1692.

Join us on Saturday February 3 at 4 pm for Colonial food and beverages and a bit of history.

This is a pot luck so looking for some talented or adventureous cooks to bring their version of Colonial fare to share with neighbors.  This is a great chance to meet up with new and old friends and tour this old house.

RSVP to stockadeassociation@gmail.com by February 2 if you plan to attend so we know how much beverage to have on hand.  Event is free to Stockade neighbors but donations accepted to cover cost for beverages.

If you’d like to help set up or have ideas to make this fun please contact Carol at 518-393-4725.
