Stockade Association Annual Meeting May 17 7 pm St. George’s Episcopal Church, Great Hall, N. Ferry St. (parking lot on Green St.)

Guests: Chris Leonard, new City Historian will discuss his role as City Historian and how Stockade neighbors can help preserve history resources and archives.

James Jansen, National Grid: Updates on gas line work in the Stockade on Union St., Church St. and Washington Ave.

Annual meeting; election of officers and directors;   committee updates; summer events. A quorum of members is required for this meeting; please plan to attend. Open Forum for neighbors to address “stuff” that impacts the neighborhood. Meetings are a good time to welcome new neighbors and to hear all that is going on in the Historic Stockade.
The Stockade Association Nominating Committee will  present the new slate of officers for the 2018-2020 term at the May 17 General Membership meeting. The following have generously agreed to serve another two-year term; Vice President, Colleen Macaulay; Corresponding Secretary, Bob Stern; Recording Secretary, Suzanna Unger; Director,
Peter Rumora; Director, Susan DuFour. Nominations are also accepted from the floor.

Warm regards to Director Max Guinel who is relocating to New Hampshire. The committee is pleased that Nathan Morgan has agreed to be nominated for the position. Nathan and his wife, Claire, moved to the Stockade from Minneapolis. They love the historic charm and active Stockade community. Nathan earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering at UMN. Currently a lecturer at SUNY Polytechnic University, he will soon join Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory as a senior Chemical Engineer.
